Our products & materials

Are your designs really hand-painted?
Yes — every one. Each motif is illustrated and painted by hand before it becomes a scarf, cushion, plate or page. Nothing is bought in or generic; when you own a Blue Frame piece, you own an original.

What are your textiles made of?
Our cushions and textiles are made in 100% cotton and cotton velvet — natural fibres chosen to feel honest in the hand and soften beautifully over time. Prints are often combined with hand embroidery and finished with pom-pom or tassel edging and a concealed back-zip.

Why does my piece look slightly different from the photograph?
Because it is handmade. Small variations in colour, brushwork and finish are natural, and no two pieces are ever perfectly identical — that is the signature of handwork, not a fault. Screens also render colour differently from real cloth and paint.

What sizes do the cushions come in?
Our cushion covers come in 45×45 cm and 35×50 cm. Any exceptions are noted on the product page.

Do you sell cushion inserts, or only covers?
Please check the individual product page, where this is specified for each piece.

Collections & availability

What are your collections?
Our hand-painted print stories include Cecil (roses & peonies), Kyoto (cranes, lotus & birds), Songs of the Night (wild cats in the dark), To Venice With Love (painted houses & florals), Mayflower, Animal Love, Maya’s Garden and more — each a story before it is a product.

A piece I love is sold out. Will it return?
Because we work in small batches, pieces do sell out. Many return, but not all. Write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we’ll tell you if a restock is planned, or let you know the moment it’s back.

Do you release new collections often?
We work slowly and seasonally rather than by the week. The best way to hear about a new collection first is to join our newsletter.

Personalisation & commissions

Do you take custom or commissioned pieces?
We do, subject to availability. Whether it’s a bespoke colourway or a commissioned artwork, write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your idea and we’ll tell you what’s possible, along with timelines and pricing.

Can I add a personal message to a gift?
Yes. Leave your note in the gift message field at checkout and we’ll write it by hand on our card and tuck it inside — without any pricing, so the surprise is kept.

Orders & payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets, as well as Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders and pin codes.

Is it safe to pay on your site?
Yes. Payments are handled by trusted, secure payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

Can I change or cancel my order?
You can cancel or amend an order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it hasn’t been dispatched. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your order number and we’ll help.

Do your prices include tax?
Yes — prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Shipping & tracking

Where do you ship?
We ship across India, with free shipping on all domestic orders. For international delivery, see below.

Do you ship internationally?
We do, on request. Write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] before ordering with your country and full address, and we’ll arrange a custom shipping quote. Please note any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

How long will my order take?
Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 2–4 business days; made-to-order and personalised pieces within 5–7. After dispatch, delivery within India usually takes 3–8 business days, depending on your location.

How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email or SMS. If it hasn’t arrived within the expected window, write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we’ll look into it.

Returns, damages & refunds

What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?
We’re so sorry if it does. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your order number and clear photos, and we’ll arrange a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping.

Can I return something if I change my mind?
As our pieces are handmade and often made to order, we’re unable to accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Please read the product details carefully, and ask us anything before you buy — we’re glad to help you choose.

How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method; your bank may take a little longer to reflect it. For COD orders, we refund by bank transfer or UPI to details you provide.

Which items can’t be returned?
Gift cards, personalised or commissioned pieces, and sale items aren’t eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Gift wrapping

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every order arrives hand-wrapped in our signature packaging at no extra cost. For special occasions, you can add our keepsake gift box at checkout.

Can I send an order directly to someone else?
Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address and we’ll deliver straight to their door, gift-wrapped and without any pricing inside. Add a note in the gift message field so they know who it’s from.

Product care

How do I care for my piece?
Each piece is made to last with a little gentle care. As a general guide: dry-clean or gently spot-clean textiles; hand-wash ceramics with mild soap and avoid abrasive scrubbers; keep stationery and paper goods away from moisture and direct sunlight; and store scarves folded, away from damp. Care specifics are noted on the individual product page — and if in doubt, write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we’ll advise for your exact piece.
